Dr Rajendar Matta is a Prosthodontist, an ADA (American Dental Association) recognized specialist in Implant, Esthetic, and Reconstructive Dentistry.
He obtained his dental degree (DMD) at the Boston University School of Dental Medicine in MA in 2009 , where he graduated with high honors. He then completed a three-year Prosthodontic Certificate Program at the University of Texas School of dentistry at Houston in 2014 and earned an additional Masters of Science degree.
He has 3 years of advanced training in:
- complex esthetic rehabilitation
- full-mouth reconstruction
- single and multi-unit implant placement including the restoration
- full-arch implant placement and prosthetics
- complete and partial dentures.
Dr. Matta is passionate about practicing evidence-based dentistry in order to ensure positive long-term treatment outcomes for his patients. He whole-heartedly believes in a global, comprehensive approach to patient care, and strives to deliver the best dental treatment to his patients.
Dr Matta has held Academic positions as Clinical Assistant professor at Boston University school of Dental medicine and University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine for last four years. He has multiple publications, poster presentations and lectured in study clubs. He also currently serves as a dentist in the United States Army Reserve Dental Corps.
Dr Matta acquired the practice of Dr David Motz in June 2018 and is proud to serve the community in greater Des Moines area. Dr. Matta is married to Deepika Abbadi, she is cardiologist at Unity Point Health. They moved to Des Moines to live close to family and friends. In his free time Dr Matta likes to spend time with family and travel. Dr Matta likes to run and swim to stay active.
